Compliance with the Belarusian customs regulations

We assist our Clients with ensuring compliance with the customs regulations of the Republic of Belarus and Eurasian Economic Union in their foreign trade activities by:

• providing consultations on import, export and transit of goods;
• providing consultations on matters of compliance with technical, sanitary and other requirements to goods released for circulation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and Eurasian Economic Union.

We support our Clients with ensuring compliance with customs and foreign exchange regulations by:

• checking contracts with respect to compliance with foreign trade regulations and enforceability of non-standard contractual terms and conditions;
• assisting with assessment of projected foreign trade transactions from the perspective of potential customs and litigation risks.

We support our Clients in their interactions with public authorities by (in this matter we are assisted by the Attorneys at law to whom we cooperate):

• standing for our Clients in disputes with customs agencies concerning goods classification in accordance with the Foreign Trade Nomenclature of Goods, customs cost adjustment, collection of customs fees, as well as refund/offsetting of overpaid customs fees;
• standing for our Clients in administrative customs offense cases in customs agencies and courts;
• standing for our Clients in criminal cases associated with breaches of customs regulations;
• standing for our Clients before competent foreign authorities in cases on introduction/amendment/revocation of special protective, anti-dumping, countervailing and other such measures.
