Alina specializes in personal data protection, intellectual property, regulatory risk management, and legal support of M&A transactions. She has experience advising in high-tech and highly regulated sectors, including e-commerce, crypto business, advertising, and pharmaceuticals. She is fluent in legal English, providing legal support for international projects and cross-border transactions.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Personal Data Protection
- conducting comprehensive audits of organizations’ personal data processing activities;
- drafting local legal acts and other documentation related to personal data protection;
- liaising with the regulator (NPDC): preparing responses to inquiries and assisting clients in remedying violations identified during inspections;
- staff training: developing training programs, tests, and presentations on legal compliance, and conducting training seminars;
- conducting Legal Due Diligence in the field of personal data protection compliance.
Antitrust and Competition Law
- supporting transactions qualifying as economic concentration: filling documents to obtain approval from antimonopoly authority, including market share calculations and group structure analysis;
- advising on unfair competition matters, including in cross-border EAEU markets.
Information Technology and Intellectual Property
- contractual support for IT businesses: drafting and analyzing license agreements, software development and maintenance agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs);
- supporting transactions involving the transfer of intellectual property rights, including franchising agreements;
- IP compliance: conducting trademark database searches and handling claims related to IP infringement.
Regulatory
- pharmaceuticals and healthcare: legal support on circulation and advertising of medicinal products, pharmacovigilance, registration of medical devices, and regulation of dietary supplements;
- cryptocurrencies and tokens: legal analysis of crypto brokers, ICO organizers, and crypto exchanges activities; drafting internal policies in compliance with Decree No. 8;
- advertising and marketing: legal audit of advertising campaigns and promotional mechanics in social media, drafting internal marketing guidelines and policies.
