On December 11th 2008 the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus passed decision #1913 “On introducing amendments and additions to the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus from November 12 2007 #1497 “On implementation of the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On advertising”.

The most significant amendments and additions were introduced to the Provision “On the order of placement (distribution) on the territory of the Republic of Belarus of outdoor advertising and its means, advertising on automobile vehicles, trams, trolleybuses” The decision #1913 was officially published on December 20th 2008 and, in accordance with art.4 of the decision, it should enter into force two months after its official publication, i.e. on February 21st 2009.
